New Pug Painting ~ You are My Sunshine! ~ Pug Design A91

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to show you my latest work!

This is the expression Archie has on his face when we I am talking to him. 🙂

I love to work with him next to me while I share ideas, tell him stories or teach him a new trick!

He is a very inquisitive & attentive puggy who is also a very good listener!

He is my sunshine and I love sharing him with you!

This is the third pug painting I have done this month and is Pug Design A91 in my latest series of paintings.

I took lots of photos for you to see how he popped to life just like I did for paintings A89 & A90. 🙂

I never know who is going to appear on the end of my brush, but I am am always so excited to meet them! 🙂

Here are the 3 new paintings I created and when I looked at them all together, I laughed because it so looks like they are spending the afternoon together gossiping doesn’t it? 🙂

The Pool Side Pug ~ Celebrating with a NEW Pug Painting! ~ Introducing Pug Design A90

Happy Monday everyone!

How did all of you spend the 1st official day of Summer?

R-Chee & I went to the pool and were inspired to paint this new Puggy!

Meet our pool side Pug!

He is keeping cool by diving into the the FUN &splashing around in the refreshing water!

 

He cannot wait to take a big gulp with his little pink tongue!

He is now available as Pug design A90 onPugNotes.com on all of my products for you to enjoy!

I took lots of photos for you to see him pop to life!

Here he is sketched on wood.

The first layer of paint is the most FUN for me!

Now his personality is really starting to shine through!

…and the final lines and detailing really make him pop to life for me!

New Pug Painting ~ Pug Design A89 ~ Springing to Life!

Happy Monday everyone!

I am sooo excited to announce & show you my newest pug painting!

It is Pug Design A89 in my series & is now available for you to enjoy on all of my pug products.

R-Chee inspired his expression as he is not only a sweet pug, but a very patient and understanding soul.

He is always by my side, no matter what I am doing and is always listening to me. 🙂

New Black Pug Painting ~ Sunny Daze ~ Pug Design A88

Happy Monday everyone!

It is bright and sunny in the studio today and I have a new pug painting to share with you to match!

This little black puggy shined before my eyes as he came to life from the end of my paint brush!

I titled him “Sunny Daze” as it looks like he just came in from a day of sunbathing on the back porch doesn’t it?

This little black puggy’s dark fur was just soaking up the rays and now he gets to shine them on us!

I took lots of photos while I painted him to show you how I made him from sketch to final coat of paint.

I just LOVE how it turned out!

Each painting I do is special to me.

I just never know who will appear or what they will say!

This one reminds me to slow down and enjoy what each day has to offer ~ 

Take a few moments for yourself each day to enjoy the sun and just feel the rays shining on you!

Appreciate all the things ~ big and small that please you in a day and you will have a magical one!

New Pug Painting ~ Meet Hot Lips!

Happy April 1st everyone!

It is April Fool’s Day, and R-Chee has me looking out for his pranks & jokes today!

He is always making me smile and doing silly things, but today he is wearing a paper crown with the words “King Cool of Fools” stapled on it!

Oh my goodness!

I had so much fun this weekend painting a new puggy for you to meet!

I titled him/her “Hot Lips” because I love how not only does he look like he wants a big kiss planted on his forehead, but also because the lipstick raspberry background was just calling out to surround this cutie patootie!

It is now available to put on any of my products for you to enjoy!

New Pug Painting (A83) ~ Pretty In Pink

 

Happy Monday Everyone!

R-Chee and I had so much FUN making this new pug painting for you to enjoy!
She seemed to be asking for a pretty pink background to surround her and I think she was exactly right! 🙂

I LOVE her expression!

She has that inquistive look like she is asking if it is “Pug Time” yet.
I always think it is pug time since Archie is usually sleeping on my feet, even when I am working at my desk, but true pug time for Archie is when I drop everything and pick up his favorite toy, leash or the food scoop! 🙂
I snapped a couple of photos while I was painting this weekend to share with you as this little pug popped to life right in front of my eyes!

This little guy is inspired by the pose Archie takes when he is patiently waiting for me to stop working and play with him. This is the look R-Chee gives me every afternoon starting at about 3:00pm. 🙂

New Pug Painting (A79) ~ Is It Treat Time Yet?

Happy Monday everyone!

Archie and I are so excited to show you a new painting I just finished!
This little guy is inspired by the expressive urgency every pug beams at us when they think it is treat time… which is all of the time!
This is the look R-Chee gives me every morning starting at about 10 am after his after breakfast nap until 5:00 pm when it is time for dinner. 🙂

I snapped a photo of the drawing I did on the piece of 8 x 10 hemlock wood before I started painting.
